1. Scope

These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders placed through the online shop Studio Filou. By placing an order, customers fully accept these Terms & Conditions.

3. Products and Availability

Studio Filou offers design objects for the home, produced in small series, designed and manufactured in Switzerland.

All prices are listed in Swiss Francs (CHF).

Product images are for illustration purposes and may vary slightly from the actual product due to material characteristics or small-series production.

All products are offered while visible in the online shop and/or while stocks last.

4. Order and Contract Formation

By completing the checkout process, customers submit a binding purchase offer.

A contract is formed only upon order confirmation sent by email.

5. Prices and Shipping Costs

All prices displayed in the shop are binding.

Shipping costs are shown clearly during checkout.

Free shipping or local pickup may be offered if communicated separately on the website.

6. Payment Methods

Studio Filou accepts the following payment methods:

  • TWINT

  • Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)

  • PostFinance

  • Apple Pay / Google Pay

Available payment options will be shown at checkout.

7. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping is available within Switzerland only.

The usual delivery time is 5–10 business days, unless otherwise stated on the product page.

Orders are shipped via Swiss Post.

If delays occur, customers will be informed by email.

8. Retention of Ownership

Goods remain the property of Studio Filou until full payment has been received.

9. Returns / Withdrawal / Exchanges

Private customers have the right to return products within 14 days of receiving the goods.

Return conditions:

  • unused

  • undamaged

  • complete

  • in original packaging

Return procedure:

  1. Notify Studio Filou by email to request a return

  2. Receive the return address

  3. Ship the product back (return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless the error is on our side)

The following items are excluded from return:

  • custom-made or personalised products

  • damaged or used goods

  • reduced/discounted items

  • lighting objects that have already been installed or wired

10. Inspection and Notification of Defects

Customers must inspect the goods immediately upon receipt.

Any defects must be reported within 14 days via email.

For justified defects, Studio Filou will provide a replacement, repair, or refund.

11. Warranty

A statutory warranty period of 2 years applies unless otherwise stated on the product page.

Damage caused by improper use, wear and tear, or customer negligence is excluded.

12. Liability

Studio Filou is liable only for damages caused by gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

Any further liability is excluded.

13. Data Protection

Personal data is handled confidentially and used solely for processing the order.

Details are outlined in the Privacy Policy.

14. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction

Swiss law applies.

The place of jurisdiction is Basel-Stadt, unless mandatory legal provisions state otherwise.

15. Amendments to the Terms & Conditions

Studio Filou may amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.

The version valid at the time of the order shall apply.
